Entretoy project originated from a seminar in Copenhagen in 2015 focused on enhancing the entrepreneurial spirit in education, uniting partners from Estonia, Poland, Greenland, Belgium, Spain, and Finland. The project employs the TOY model, which facilitates students' professional and entrepreneurial skill development through cooperative learning in real business environments, contrasting traditional educational models. The TOY model incorporates educational cooperatives where students engage in projects under guided team coaching, fostering reflection and collaboration.
In Belgium, the Agence pour l'Entreprise & l'Innovation (AEI) promotes initiatives for the entrepreneurial development of institutions. The ENTRETOY project's innovative approach blends diagnostic tools with coaching to build entrepreneurial projects tailored to learner needs. This method encourages determination, perseverance, and creativity in students while emphasizing the importance of sharing ideas and networking.
Results indicate successful enhancement of entrepreneurial skills among participants across various educational levels, improving employability and teaching capabilities for educators. The project aims to offer an innovative and interactive pathway to develop essential qualities for aspiring entrepreneurs. Funding from the European Commission supports the project, with the publication's views reflecting the author's perspective.
